Type of Scissor Lifts Used In Work Place Environments:

  • Man Lift - usually characterized by the bucket or platform to hold workers
  • Boom Lift - very similar to the man lift in that there is also a bucket type of enclosure working enclosure
  • Scissor Lift - these lifts provide larger, elevated work areas in addition to raising and lowering product (see chart below for the most commonly used scissor lifts)
